All turbocharged vehicles utilize some form of factory boost control, most of which display a tendency to be conservative in allowing the boost to build up, and then taper away noticeably toward redline. A GFB Boost Controller however, not only allows quick and easy boost level adjustment, but it can also reduce the boost threshold (the RPM at which boost starts to rise) and maintain a rock-steady upper limit.

GFB Reactor 2 Stage Boost Controller

All new from GFB is the Reactor, a dual-stage boost controller which allows one of two independently adjustable boost levels to be selected from the driver's seat. The Reactor comes with a complete wiring harness, along with a fuse, “Rocket Launcher” style switch and all necessary plugs to make installation a breeze. All you need to do is find a 12v power source and plug it all together – no soldering! Another unique feature of the Reactor is its air-bleed return outlet, which gives you the option to feed the bleed-off air back to the inlet to ensure the entire system stays closed to the atmosphere, in the same way that most modern factory systems do.

GFB HYBRID Blow Off Valve

The latest version of the Hybrid allows the user to vary the noise characteristics of the valve, essentially making the Hybrid three valves in one! By swapping either the trumpet or the recirc outlet for a special plug (now supplied), you can change the valve to 100% recirc (silent), 50/50 recirc/atmosphere (medium noise), or 100% atmosphere (loudest).








 
GFB Basic Blow Off Valve

Sporting the same quality internal components and unique features found in all GFB valves, the Basic is actually the highest flowing valve in the universal range. The 5-hole pattern ensures a huge venting area and free-flowing air path.

Other valves on the market may look like the Basic, but rest assured, size for size the Basic will out-flow most of them by up to 40%. Because of the free-flowing characteristics, this valve is not as loud as the Mach 1 or Bovus Maximus. This does however, make it a good choice for big horsepower engines.

GFB WRX Hybrid Blow Off Valve

The WRX Hybrid valve is designed specifically to bolt straight onto all late model Subaru WRXs and STis from MY01 (MY02 in the U.S.) with no adaptors, extras or modifications required. The Hybrid design allows the valve to be configured to return a portion of the vented air to the inlet, meaning no more air flow meter problems and a great sound. The kit also includes a blanking cap for the return outlet allowing the valve to vent 100% to atmosphere for maximum noise!

It is a little known fact that the late-model WRX factory blow-off valve is actually designed to leak at boost pressures exceeding the factory level. Replacing it noticeably improves throttle response, and is definitely recommended in applications where the boost has been raised.
